About the only thing I remembered about this one was Kristy and Shannon's prank war and then the Pepperoni Mountain Dog.

Kristy is surprisingly nasty in parts of this one, though she's reacting to the stress of moving and Louie's decline. Everything with Louie is really well written and some of the stuff Kristy was thinking was what I was thinking a few years back when I had to make the choice with a pet ('Is it right that I'm deciding it's time for him to die?' etc.)

I also remember somewhere late junior high when a friend got a $400 dog and that was part of every single statement about said dog.
