Do you think I’ll have to repeat eighth grade? Of course she doesn't, but this is pretty funny in light of the kids never aging.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-14 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)I do find it funny that the Pikes are loose enough to generally let the kids eat/do whatever but they won't let Mal wear a glittery sweatshirt(?!).
When do people eat dinner in Stoneybrook? Do the girls not fill up on junk at meetings?
Dawn eating supper at the Kishis when there's no one home at her house is such a nice image.
I love Claud's presence of mind when she breaks her leg. Especially to get Dawn and Mal over. And Dawn is so good to go with her.
Poor Claud. Of course she has bad associations of hospitals from Mimi.
I feel like the Claud-wants-to-quit-the-club plotline is really contrived, like they couldn't come up with some more conflict for this book other than Claud breaking her leg.
I love Kristy paying everybody back for the expenses incurred in the prank war.
Don't worry, Claudia, you're going to repeat eighth grade several times. The good news is that so is everybody else.
LOL, Kristy. Saying about how you'll have to find a new meeting place and put out a new number isn't exactly giving Claudia a fair decision!
I can kind of see why the Sobaks won't even take their own kid to the movies.
I kind of love the Kristy/Claudia scene about her deciding to stay in the club!
OMG I love that Kristy still wants to get hit in the face with a pie.
